Presentation : This "L'ultime" cuvée is a very rare vintage. It comes from the exceptional terroirs of Fleurie: "Grille Midi" and "La Madonna". It is born from manual harvesting and whole bunch fermentation. A top-of-the-range cuvée that is only produced from exceptional harvests.
This wine comes from Organic Agriculture and is produced using Biodynamic methods. These are really confidential vintages because the yields are low and the bottles are very sought after.
Tasting : An extremely generous wine with a fruity dimension and a very mineral structure. A red / ruby colour. The mouth is balanced and one notices its crunchy and elegant side. On the nose, notes of red fruits (raspberries, strawberries and cherries). A tannic finish, long and distinguished by its finesse. An exceptional quality.
Cellaring potential: To be kept in a cellar for at least 5 years. Can be enjoyed within 15 years.
Terroir : Silt sands rich in granite
Maturing : In vats
Food and wine pairing: Enjoy with Munster-based dishes; beef fillet with a crushed pepper crust; filet mignon with pears and honey.
