Bahans Haut-Brion 2003
Pessac-Léognan - Second wine of the Château Haut-Brion
92/100 Parker
Cellaring : Drink now.
Tasted by Robert M. Parker in 2014 : "The 2003 Bahans Haut-Brion (before the name change to Le Clarence) shows complex notes of unsmoked cigar tobacco intermixed with fiery embers, charcoal, black currants, and cherries in a medium-bodied, fleshy, complex, and surprisingly fruity, full-bodied, and rich wine. The tannins are resolved, the acidity is low and the wine is gorgeous now. It should continue to improve for another 5-6 years. There is no reason to delay your satisfaction with this beauty."
