Batard-Montrachet Grand Cru 2017
Maison Louis Latour
The Grand Cru vineyard of Bâtard-Montrachet is located between the picturesque villages of Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet, where the world's greatest wines are produced. This 11.86 ha vineyard is separated from the great Montrachet by a narrow strip of land. This hill, facing east, is composed of a largely gravelly soil on a clay base, world-renowned for the expression of the fruit of the Chardonnay grape.
96/100 Wine Spectator
"Enticing aromas of white flowers, lemon, pastry shop and toasted spices are followed by apple, mineral and spice flavors in this plump yet elegant white. Long and creamy on the finish, unleashing its payload gracefully. This should age beautifully, but decant now if you can't wait."
