St Joseph Parady 2019 - Bernard Gripa
Introducing the new 2019 vintage of the recent Domaine Gripa vintage. The 2016 vintage was the first of this new cuvée from the Bernard Gripa estate. It comes from the place called "Paradis" in Mauves. This is one of the most beautiful terroirs of the Saint Joseph appellation with magnificent east-facing granite slopes. These vines produce a more robust Saint Joseph which required a slightly longer maturation period.
The palate is marked by redcurrant and blackberry which accompanies notes of pepper typical of the region's old syrah. This Saint-Joseph can be drunk now as it already offers great pleasure, but it is imperative to put it in a carafe or open the bottle to air the wine for at least 2 hours. To fully enjoy all its aromas, it is advisable to wait 2 years before drinking it. This wine can be left in the cellar for 7-10 years.
