Drink between 2028 and 2047
"From a hot and dry growing season, particularly from mid-June onwards, during which harvest began as early as August 23rd and continued for two weeks, the 2018 Bollinger La Grande Année, composed of 66% Pinot Noir and 34% Chardonnay, was disgorged in March 2025 with a dosage of six grams per liter. This wine proved exceptional for this vintage, offering – unsurprisingly – a fuller and more luscious profile than the elegant and refined versions of 2014 and 2008. On the nose, it reveals aromas of peach, yellow apple, and orange peel, mingled with notes of fresh bread and mango. Beautifully structured, it is full and textured, with a generous fruit core, enlivened by A creamy mousse and a ripe yet lively acidity that lingers on the palate. It is slightly more expressive in magnum, but in both cases, it will benefit from a few years of aging after disgorgement to fully develop. "
