Closerie de Camensac 2010 - second wine
Haut-Médoc
La Closerie de Camensac is the second wine of Château de Camensac—a 5th Growth (Grand Cru Classé) estate from the 1855 classification, located in the Haut-Médoc appellation. Produced from the same deep gravel terroirs and crafted by the same winemaking team, this blend—dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot—offers a more accessible and indulgent alternative to the estate’s flagship wine. It is characterized by alluring aromas of red and black fruits (blackcurrant, cherry), subtle hints of oak and spice, and a supple, fresh, and balanced palate. Designed to be enjoyed sooner in its youth, it nonetheless retains the classic elegance typical of the Médoc.
