Tasting notes: "Clas Mani is a jewel. From the rigorous selection of plots to the meticulous work on the plants throughout the year, nothing has been left to chance, everything has been tailored to the evolution of each plant. Mainly planted with Syrah, the plots are exposed on an SSW axis. Thus, the grapes benefit from both a mild sun in the morning and light in the late afternoon. The large temperature difference between day and night gives this wine an unprecedented freshness. The soil is made up of sandstone which drains the rain quickly. Our vines are subject to a high level of hydric stress which results in low yields and concentrated berries that are the ultimate expression of the richness of this terroir.

• Type: Languedoc Red Wine
• Age of vines: 60+ years
• Vinification : South facing, the vines benefit from an optimal exposure allowing them to reach a perfect maturity while keeping their freshness and fine tannins. The grapes are meticulously selected during the manual harvest which takes place at the beginning of October.
• Ageing :18 months in oak barrels
• Soil type: Located near Montpeyroux and Saint-Saturnin. The soil is clay and limestone.
