Tasting by Luis Gutiérrez in 2021: "Like most Catena Cabernet Sauvignons, the 2019 is not a 100% varietal wine, but a blend of 96% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Cabernet Franc, because Cabernet Sauvignon alone is often not complete enough. The Cabernet Franc must have given it an extra kick, reinforcing the already fresh character of the vintage. The palate is medium-bodied, with plenty of herbal aromas and freshness, and very fine, varied tannins.
