The wines of Chambolle are above all models of elegance and finesse: of a medium colour, they release voluminous aromas of raspberry, candied strawberry, violet and undergrowth. Their body is marked by fine tannins associated with softness. Not very acidic, they impose themselves by their fleshy character. The Premier Crus are more concentrated and often firmer.
