Champagne 1er Cru Le Cran 2013 - Bérêche et Fils
Ludes Premier Cru
95/100 Parker
Cellaring potential: 2021 - 2035
By William Kelley in 2021: "The 2013 Le Cran Premier Cru shows particularly well, bursting with aromas of pear, mirabelle plum, crisp yellow orchard fruit and blood orange, complemented by buttery pastry notes. Medium to full-bodied, layered and multi-dimensional, it is concentrated and intensely saline, concluding with a long mineral finish. The late harvest of 2013 gave this year's fruit tones an exotic quality that is very appealing, especially as the Champagne has never had such a late harvest in the years since. This bottle was disgorged in July 2020 with a dosage of three grams per litre."
