Charles Heidsieck Brut Rosé 2005
The year 2005 reserved a beautiful scenario for the Champagne region in particular: a cool and dry winter, an early heat wave in June, favouring the flowering of the vines, reasonable rainfall in summer and the return of strong heat at the beginning of September, ideal for the perfect ripening of the grapes.
The 2005 Rosé has taken the time to mature patiently: the year's sunny profile has given it this angular and generous structure that takes years to round out and blossom. After more than 10 years on the lees, the wine is there: massive, powerful with a very fine career in the making
