Échezeaux Grand Cru 2023 - Louis Latour
James Suckling Score: 100/100
Legendary Vintage
A wine of exceptional fruit complexity, expressing aromas of ripe strawberries, spices, plums, and rose stems, enhanced by dried flower petals. On the palate, the texture is ample and concentrated, supported by compact fruit and subtle notes of nutmeg, cinnamon, chocolate, and hazelnut. The mineral tannins blend into a body of great elegance, both polished and refined.
A wine of irresistible class and charm, already delicious today but promising several decades of evolution.

Superb plot of land located above Clos Vougeot, between Vosne-Romanée and Vougeot in the Côte de Nuits, it belonged at the time to the Abbaye de Cîteaux. Echézeaux is an exquisite red wine, solid and robust, all in harmony, definitely a great wine for laying down.
