Savigny-lès-Beaune “Les Picotins” – Domaine Chantal Lescure
The Savigny-lès-Beaune “Les Picotins” cuvée from Domaine Chantal Lescure is a Pinot Noir sourced from a plot cultivated using organic farming methods, situated on clay-limestone soils with fine alluvial deposits at the foot of the hillside. Carefully vinified using indigenous yeasts and aged for an extended period on its lees in a cool cellar, this wine embodies the lusciousness and finesse characteristic of its appellation. It reveals a brilliant ruby hue and offers an alluring aromatic bouquet centered on fresh red and black fruits—such as cherry, raspberry, and blackcurrant—complemented by subtle floral notes and a delicate touch of spice. On the palate, the wine is marked by a supple entry, fine, well-integrated tannins, and a beautifully balanced, fruit-forward character; it is remarkably easy to drink while maintaining an elegant structure.
