Description :
Chassagne-Montrachet, located south of Puligny-Montrachet on the Côte de Beaune, is known for the quality of its whites. As its name suggests, this small plot of land with a total surface area of 0.5 hectares is located on the Montagne de Chassagne, at the very top of the hillside, at an altitude of 310 metres. Like a well-guarded treasure, it is surrounded by vegetation and can be reached by a small dirt road.
Fermentation : Traditional in oak barrels, 100% malolactic.
Ageing: 8 to 10 months in oak barrels, 50% new
Barrels: Tonnellerie Louis Latour, French oak, medium toast
Tasting note: Our Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru "La Grande Montagne" reveals a golden yellow colour. On the nose, it reveals aromas of yellow fruits, salted caramel and vanilla. Ample and fresh in the mouth, we find notes of marzipan and a salty finish.
Food and wine pairing : Lobster - fish - shellfish - goat cheese
