Chassagne Montrachet 1er cru La Boudriotte 2018 - Blain Gagnard
Tasting notes :Like Morgeot, La Boudriotte can have weight, depth and richness, but it is generally a little finer. The aromas and flavors of yellow apples, lemons and minerals are accompanied by notes of vanilla and toast thanks to a 30% aging in new barrels.
-
Grape variety : 100% Chardonnay
-
Soil composition: Limestone, clay and gravel
-
Alcohol: 13.4%.
-
Residual sugar: 0.3 g/L
-
Acidity: 5.6 g/L
Food and wine pairing: It goes well with white fish and shellfish, and its naturally high acidity can counterbalance cream-based sauces. Oak lends itself well to grilled fish, starchy foods, butter and roasted nuts.
