This wine is a tribute to Châteauneuf du Pape through its king grape variety
Grenache. A subtle blend of raspberry, cherry and liquorice aromas coated with spices, it expresses pure finesse, an escape, a perfect harmony between generosity and power.
ASSEMBLY
97% Grenache / 3% Other grape varieties: The Grenache comes from a single plot of century-old vines with sandy soil located at the intersection of the "Grand Pierre", "Rayas" and "Pointu" districts.
VINIFICATION & MATURATION
Underground cellar built on gravity for a delicate vinification. Vinification in concrete tulip-shaped vats. De-stemming of unripe grapes. Maceration for more than 4 weeks. Gentle extraction. Aged in old tuns for 20 months. The wine is not filtered before bottling.
VITICULTURE
Severe disbudding is carried out. Green harvesting is carried out. The harvest is done manually with a rigorous double sorting in the vineyard.
TASTING
The colour is bright and violet. The nose has a powerful bouquet of black cherries, blackberries, lavender, violets and garrigue. It is rich, powerful It is rich, powerful and concentrated, which gives it incredible charm. It is also well balanced.
