Tasting: "A great show for this wine, the 2009 Châteauneuf du Pape is fleshy and intense, with black olives and black cherries also sharing the limelight. Full-bodied, rich and velvety, with a long finish, it may have a a bit coarse in texture, but it's a drink in the glass. Drink now or hold on; it should drink well for at least another decade."
