Product description
100% Syrah grape variety.
SOIL
Part of the vineyard is located on decomposing granite, locally called "gore", the other part is located on clayey-limestone alluvial soils.
WINEMAKING
Grapes are completely destemmed.
Vatting period of 25 to 30 days.
Extraction by pigeage and pumping over.
AGEING
Aged in oak barrels for 12 to 14 months.
TASTING
Appearance : Intense ruby colour with purple tints.
Nose : very ripe fruits, raspberry and blackcurrant jam.
Palate : blackberries, spices, morello cherries. Dense and tight tannins with a good persistence in the mouth.
