Côte-Rôtie La Landonne 2016 - Domaine Rostaing
A superb parcel shared by the most beautiful estates of the Côte-Rôtie. This gem produces each vintage with elegance and class. Racy wines of the appellation; it is one of the most beautiful interpretations of this immense terroir by a very great winemaker.
The singularity of the schists of "La Landonne" gives the wine all its aromatic diversity (rose petals, violet, pepper and blackcurrant). The palate is incredibly concentrated and silky at the same time. The finesse of the Syrah tannins here reaches an incomparable level. To be left to age for 10 to 20 years.
Dense and velvety, it is one of the most accomplished Cote-Rôtie of the vintage. This is a great, civilised and noble wine!
