Chablis Grand Cru 2005 Les Preuses - Dauvissat
Vincent Dauvissat
94/100 Parker
Drink now to 2040.
A Chablis Grand Cru that embodies the elegance and purity of the Les Preuses terroir in a perfectly mastered, sunny vintage.
Tasting by Neal Martin:
Upon opening, the wine displays a strong mineral signature, with a taut, stony bouquet that remains unchanged after two days of aeration. A restrained and refined expression, with subtle aromas of yellow flowers and flint. On the palate, the balance is remarkable, supported by fine acidity and an elegant texture. Less powerful than the 2016, this 2015 stands out for its more feminine profile, its delicacy, and its masterful length. A wine that lives up to all the promise it already showed during aging.
