• Ageing capacity: 2023 - 2040
• Tasting note : Very beautiful golden yellow colour with pale gold reflections. The wine is limpid and very bright, luminous. The nose is immediately complex and powerful, fine and balanced. First it is white flowers that come into play, then ripe white fruit, white peach, notes of beeswax and citron. The floral notes, typical of this cuvée, such as powdered rose, give it its identity. The vinification and maturing in French oak give the depth and complexity necessary to its image as a great white wine from the Rhone Valley.
• The palate is dense: neither softness nor tension, it is the perfect balance of great white wines. One then perceives all the richness of the wine, slightly candied white fruits, a touch of vanilla and some dried fruits. Creamy, ample, long, this wine has volume and fatness. However, the finish is balanced on notes of citrus fruits, zest, bergamot and always floral notes.
• This Hermitage is a great bottle, in a fine vintage. To open well surrounded for festive meals or special occasions. Thus, scallops, sweetbreads, truffles will accompany it with dignity and honour its qualities.
