Tasting by Joe Czerwinski on January 20, 2022 : "The Cote Rotie les Rochins has great intensity and still retains a floral touch on the nose, but with added black fruit notes, such as purple raspberry and blueberry. Quite powerful, concentrated and deep, it is still relatively approachable now but should have the capacity to age until 2035+."
The Cuvée: A parcel located in the north of the appellation on a schist and iron oxide terroir. Facing south, this wine was vinified in the same way as the previous vintages and aged for 20 months in 400 liter barrels, 30% of which were new.
