Order wine bottles : Domaine de Trevallon 2021
Local wine from the Bouches du Rhone
Trévallon is known for its long aging process, more than 2 years for its reds. Racking is kept to a strict minimum, the lees found at the bottom of the barrels continue to nourish the wine during the ageing process.
The 2021 vintage
Presentation : For several years, the summer has been characterised by a lack of rain. However, in 2021, we recorded rainfall of 20 mm in July and 25 mm in August, small showers that were beneficial for the vines. This summer turned out to be one of the coolest in recent years, with an average temperature of 24°C in July and August, compared with 27°C in 2022.
Harvest: The harvest began on 8 September with the Syrah, and ended on 21 September with the Cabernet Sauvignon.
