Saumur White 2020 - Domaine Guiberteau

Cuvée presentation : "The Saumur Blanc de Guiberteau is made from clay-limestone soils from the bottom of the hill in Brézé (older vines) and Clos des Carmes and Clos Guichaux (younger vines), all planted between 1940 and 2012. Aged on fine lees in stainless steel tanks until spring and only lightly filtered.
Tasting: The wine has a bright lemon yellow colour and a clear, pure, fresh and aromatic bouquet, intense and elegant with chalky notes. Round, pure and mineral on the palate, this is a totally mineral and tightly structured Chenin, with ripe pear flavours on the crisp, salty finish. This wine is full of energy, tension and finesse.
