Saint Emilion Grand Cru Classé
95/100 James Suckling
"A nose of spiced cherries, cedar, white pepper, and black mushrooms. The palate is almost full, with ripe, dusty, and caressing tannins, evenly present. Juicy, long, and full. Very well balanced and already seductive, it will be better after 2026."
Zekun Shuai
The Château Fleur Cardinale 2022 is a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé that combines power, ripe fruit, and finesse, thanks to a beautiful blend of approximately 75% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. In a climate marked by significant temperature variations between day and night, this vintage offers aromas of ripe black berries, graphite, violets and sweet spices (notably cocoa, star anise or star anise) on the nose, while on the palate it seduces with its silky tannins, its balance between richness and freshness, and a well-defined, slightly saline and toasted finish. With its valuable aging potential of around fifteen years, this is a wine that is already impressive in its youth but promises to evolve beautifully.
