Parker's tasting: "Clos Manou, another of the Medoc's top crus bourgeois, is located near the village of St. Christoly. A blend of 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, and 20% Petit Verdot (an incredibly high percentage of this variety), the solidly constructed, dark ruby/purple-colored 2004 exhibits aromas of black currants, cherries, menthol, and camphor. Quite tannic, brilliantly pure and well-delineated."
