Puligny-Montrachet 1er cru Champ Canet 1997 - JM Boillot
Jean Marc Boillot
- Tasting : The Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Champs Canet has a linear, direct, quite intense bouquet with just a slight reduction, opening up all the time with fresh pear, pinkish green apple and subtle waxy notes in the background. The palate is well balanced with bright acidity, fine tension, a rather Meursault style, with orange zest and freshly cut pear towards the taut finish. This is an accomplished Boillot wine and should drink well for a number of years.
- When to drink it? : A beautiful wine at maturity, to be drunk now.
- Serving temperature : 12 to 14 °C
