Château Lafite Rothschild 1989
Pauillac - Premier Grand Cru Rated
93/100 Wine Spectator
When to drink this wine: A mature wine that can be drunk now.
Tasting by Luis Gutiérrez: "Subtle, yet rich and decadent, offering meat, sweet berries and fresh leather on the nose. Full and very smooth, with velvety tannins and a long, fruity finish. There is so much ripe fruit in this wine. It's fresh and structured, but still holding back. I wouldn't wait, though."
