Features
- Single Guyot pruned Chardonnay vines. These 34 ares were planted in 1983 and 1997.
- This little known premier cru is located at the top of the village of Meursault, in the direction of Volnay. The soil is red and very stony. This results in an early ripening of the grapes, especially in a hot year.
Vinification
- The grapes are harvested by hand. Once pressed, the grape juice is fermented in French oak barrels with a proportion of 30 percent of new barrels. Then the wine matures in this noble wood until the following summer. Thus, after several months of aging, the wine will improve and assert its personality.
- The wine is bottled in the cellar after 15 months of maturation.
- Taste it at 14°C.
