Tasting Notes: My favourite vintage of this château to drink today is the 1985 Léoville Las Cases. It is deep, full-bodied and textured, with unusual concentration for the vintage, supple tannins, luscious acids and a long, expansive finish. More generous than the dark 1986 and more complex than the 1982, the 1985 is now at its peak.
