- Description: Vosne-Romanée, famous throughout the world for its Grands Crus, also produces some Premiers Crus capable of competing with the best. The Premier Cru vineyard of "Les Suchots" is recognised as the leading candidate for any potential elevation of the Vosne-Romanée appellation to Grand Cru status. It is located just north of the Grand Crus such as "Romanée Saint-Vivant" and "Romanée Conti", the soil is very similar and there is much in common between the wines.
- Fermentation : Traditional in open vats
- Aging : 10 to 12 months in oak barrels, 40% new
- Barrels : Tonnellerie Louis Latour, French oak, medium toast
- Tasting notes : A beautiful ruby red colour, our Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru "Les Suchots" 2014 reveals a fruity nose of blackberry and blueberry but also notes of coffee. On the palate, the wine is full and rich with a delicate taste of melted oak.
