Méo-Camuzet Frères et Sœurs en Provenance domaine
FIND OUT MORE ABOUT THIS CUVÉE :
- Tasting notes : This wine is very smooth and accessible. Less exuberant on the nose than the Marsannay, it is more caressing on the palate, very silky and, what's more, very long. The whole is highly seductive and has won over many connoisseurs, including the most demanding.
- Laying down: The acidity is fairly modest and the wine is charming in its youth. Despite this, it ages well, but is difficult to resist in its early years: in our range, this is the wine you can open first to discover the vintage. If, however, you prefer to keep it (for up to 10 years), it's best to choose a cold vintage, which will have a natural acidity that will allow it to develop harmoniously.
- Maturation: Gentle, without too many new barrels and not too long, to retain freshness.
- Vinification: Extraction is natural, as the grapes ferment slowly, so little intervention is required.
- Vines: Several plantations of varying ages (25 years, 50 years), but the average age is quite high. Ripening is slow and the vines benefit from being harvested late; this does not pose any problems as the grapes hold up very well.
