Pauillac - Premier Grand Cru Classé
WHEN TO DRINK THIS WINE?
This is a rare and old vintage of Mouton Rothschild. It matured decades ago. You can taste it today or collect it.
THE VINEYARD
The vineyard is planted on very deep gravel, with grape varieties typical of the region: Cabernet Sauvignon (81%), Merlot (15%), Cabernet Franc (3%) and Petit Verdot (1%). This proportion is not identical in the wine, as the blend varies according to the character of each vintage.
LABEL PRODUCED BY CÉSAR BALDACCINI
Paper clips, pins, nuts: with humour, his composition for the 1967 label also summons up the artefacts of our time around Mouton Rothschild
TASTING
Presentation : Mouton-Rothschild is a great red wine from the Pauillac appellation. It has the rank of 1er grand cru classé. It is therefore part of the elite of the appellation. The 1967 vintage is pleasantly fruity, simple and fully mature.
