"Deep garnet in color, the 2009 Palmer offers a seductive array of black fruits - warm plums, cassis and stewed black cherry - with sparks of kirsch and wild sage, as well as deep suggestions of fragrant earth, black truffle, iron ore and liquid licorice. The palate is full-bodied, rich and deliciously seductive. TASTING

  • Service: Château Palmer is a wine that gains complexity with age, so it is recommended to let it age in the bottle before serving. Ideally, it should be stored in a wine cellar under optimal temperature and humidity conditions.   • Palate: On the palate, this wine is generally elegant and silky, with well-integrated tannins. It has a fine structure and remarkable length on the palate. Black fruit flavors often mingle with hints of spice, leather and tobacco.
