Flor de Pingus 2019 - Dominio de Pingus
Second wine of the Prestigious Dominio de Pingus - Ribera del Duero - Peter SISSECK
97/100 James Suckling
Cellaring: Now to 2028.
Tasted by Luis Gutiérrez on October 29, 2021: "The 2019 Flor de Pingus is marginally riper than the PSI and Pingus of the same vintage, but it still has the freshness and finesse that the barrel sample showed a little over a year ago. The wine has more concentration than the 2018, and it has absorbed the oak quite well. They use maybe 20% new barrels for aging here. It has abundant, fine-grained tannins. This is a powerful flor vintage, reflecting the solar vintage, but keeping the weight, early harvest and low temperature fermentation. 108,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in July 2021."
