Tasting: "Le Gay 2015 comes from the 6.5 hectare Pomerol estate. It is a blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc, harvested from September 27th to October 8th. It exhibits a fragrant bouquet of red cherries, crushed strawberries, and notes of vanilla from 100% new oak. The palate is medium-bodied with fine, ripe, round tannins that are well balanced and very smooth. Don't overlook this Cru as it has been a great success in recent years." Neil Martin
