The 2017 Pouilly-Fuissé Tête de Cru Le Clos exhibits aromas of blanched almonds, Anjou pear, waxy citrus rind and warm bread. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, satiny and concentrated, with promising dry extract, lively acids and a precise finish. Once again, this east-facing site that runs between the Ferret property and the village church has produced a very fine cuvée.
