THE VINTAGE
2019 is a fresh and balanced vintage. The volumes are low but the quality is exceptional. Characterized by extreme weather and healthy, fragrant grapes, 2019 was marked by low rainfall (-50% compared to normal), several episodes of frost in April/May and the summer heat wave. Harvesting began on Monday, September 9 in Côte Chalonnaise and ended on September 21 in Côte de Nuits.

Pairings : Braised veal grenadins, roasted partridge, turkey with chestnuts
Temperature : 14°C to 16°C
Aging potential : 6 to 10 years
Tasting : The Volnay is elegant and supple. A luscious Volnay Village appellation wine and charming with very good depth.
