Grape variety : 100% Chardonnay on a plot of 2.87 hectares.
TERROIR
Large Clos en Monopole surrounded by walls located in the Faubourgs de Meursault. This vineyard inherited from the Monks of Cîteaux has been producing red and white wines since the beginning. It is a coluvionnage argilo-calcareous soil laid on an old river bed.
VINIFICATION & MATURING
The grapes are hand-picked in small crates and then the whole bunches are pressed in a pneumatic press. Alcoholic fermentation and maturing are 100% in oak barrels. Malolactic fermentation is 100%.
Duration of maturing: 18 months.
TASTING NOTES
Tasted in June 2020
DRESS: Luminous green gold, silvery reflections.
NOSE: Notes of flint evolving on notes of yellow fruits (pineapple, apricot).
PALATE : On tenderness and greediness. Spicy, tasty notes. Sapid finish in the mouth
