The small commune of Puligny-Montrachet shares with Chassagne the most the most famous white wines of Burgundy, including the mythical Montrachet. It also has also has many renowned Premiers Crus, such as Les Combettes.
TASTING NOTE: Pale gold color. Refined bouquet of hawthorn flowers and white fruits with a touch of vanilla. Very well balanced between richness and freshness on the palate. A wine of great class.
FOOD & WINE Pairings : Fish, seafood and shellfish in sauce.
TEMPERATURE : Between 12°C and 14°C
AGEING POTENTIAL : 7 years and more
AGEING : 10 to 12 months in French oak barrels, with up to 15% new barrels.
AGEING : The cellars of the Bastions of the old Château de Beaune offer natural conditions perfectly adapted to the ageing of the Premiers Crus.
