Order wine Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2022 - René Bouvier
René Bouvier wine at the best price
This Pinot Noir Burgundy cuvée comes from several parcels located in Marsannay, Gevrey-Chambertin, Brochon, and Fixin, from vines approximately 40 years old. This blend of prestigious Côte de Nuits terroirs gives rise to an elegant and expressive wine, marked by the finesse of fresh red fruit. Both luscious and possessing a beautiful structure, it can be enjoyed in its youth while also offering the potential to age for several years.
The estate cultivates its vines with an environmentally conscious approach, with regular work on the soils and vines propagated from massal selections. Green pruning—bud removal, trellising, and trimming—allows for natural control of yields and ensures optimal grape ripeness. The harvest is carried out by hand, after rigorous sorting directly in the vineyard.
After sorting on a sorting table, the grapes are gravity-fed into temperature-controlled vats, with an average of 50% whole clusters depending on the vintage. Fermentation occurs with indigenous yeasts, and the winemaking process prioritizes infusion to preserve the fruit's finesse. Aging lasts approximately 14 to 16 months in barrels and vats, with limited use of sulfur and bottling according to the lunar calendar. This wine pairs perfectly with braised veal, roast poultry, or simply prepared pork.
