A historic estate in Savigny-lès-Beaune - Burgundy wines
Founded in 1880, Domaine Simon Bize & Fils is a must for lovers of great Burgundy wines. Located in the heart of Savigny-lès-Beaune, this 22-hectare family estate has been passed down through the generations in a constant quest for excellence. From vineyards handed down from father to son (and daughter), the estate has been enriched by know-how and innovation, while respecting its exceptional terroir. Today, it is run by Chisa Bize and her team, who continue the legacy with passion and precision.
The estate cultivates prestigious plots, ranging from village appellations to Premiers Crus and Grands Crus such as Corton-Charlemagne and Latricières-Chambertin. The varied soils, made up of chalky marl and clay, produce wines rich in character. Each cuvée, whether made from Pinot Noir or Chardonnay, expresses the character of its terroir with finesse.
The estate's red wines are renowned for their elegance and balance, while the whites offer freshness, roundness and complexity. The vinification process, which respects traditional methods, is carried out with care to preserve the identity of each parcel.
