Tasting by Joe Czerwinski in 2022: "I tasted three different batches of the 2020 Crozes Hermitage, harvested at very different levels of ripeness. One, harvested on August 23 at just 11.7 degrees potential alcohol, was light, with paper-like tannins but lovely cherry-like fruit. Another, harvested 8-10 September at 13.8-13.9 degrees, had more weight, velvety richness and darker fruit flavours. The bigger one was picked somewhere in between, with bright purple raspberries, a crisp and quite powerful mouthfeel. A bright and vibrant finish.".
