Tasted by Lisa Perrotti-Brown in March 2020: "Medium-deep garnet-purple in color, the 2017 Beau-Séjour Becot emerges from the glass with pronounced scents of black cherries, kirsch, baked plums, and boysenberries, as well as hints of bay leaves, star anise, and pencil shavings with a touch of rose. Medium- to full-bodied, the palate offers bags of juicy dark fruit with a firm backbone of rounded tannins and bold freshness, finishing with great length and purity."
