Tasted by Parker in 2015: "A perfect wine in this vintage, the 2005 Péby Faugères has the classic liqueur of blueberries and spring flowers. Dense purple and full-bodied, with incredible richness, it tastes like a great Cabernet Napa from the Beckstoffer To Kalon vineyard, even though it doesn't contain Cabernet Sauvignon. It's a sensational wine - rich, full and multi-dimensional, with a mid-palate and finish worthy of a skyscraper. Well done Péby Faugères for producing one of the perfect wines of the vintage. Drink it over the next 3-4 years, but also over the next two decades.
