98/100 James Suckling & 98/100 Parker
Cellaring: 2024 - 2032
“The 2020 Adrianna Vineyard Fortuna Terrae is exceptionally well presented. It's still young and juicy with a little baby fat that should fade with a little more time in bottle. It's a little lighter and the tannins have given it grip and a chalky feel. But the wine is very expressive, very pure, clean and precise, and shows no signs of coming from a warmer year like 2020. It finishes on the violets characteristic of great Malbec, wrapped in a chalky minerality. This parcel performs well in warmer years like this one. It was bottled in October 2021. WINE DESCRIPTION
Fortuna Terrae means luck of the land in Latin. The deep loamy soils are home to many varieties of native grasses that prevent erosion and attract beneficial insects, songbirds and mountain foxes. Thanks to the freshness conferred by the deep soils and high altitude, Fortuna Terrae wines have optimal acidity and delicate floral aromas. This wine is best enjoyed a few years or decades after the harvest.
