ROSÉ BLANC GRAND CRU
Origin and identity: Created in the 1990s and now a signature offering from the House, this cuvée blends Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs (specifically from Oger, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Cramant, and Chouilly) with Pinot Noir vinified as a red wine in Bouzy.
Blend: Composed of 92% Grand Cru Chardonnay and 8% Grand Cru Bouzy red wine (Pinot Noir), it incorporates 85% wines from the current vintage (vinified in stainless steel tanks and barrels) and 15% reserve wines (aged in large oak casks and stainless steel tanks).
Viticulture and terroir: Sourced from an estate spanning 12.20 hectares, the vineyard has an average vine age of 43 years. Cultivation practices include natural winter cover cropping, seasonal ploughing, gentle crop protection methods, and entirely manual harvesting.
Production and aging: Following 36 months of aging on the lees in the cellar, the cuvée receives a very low dosage of less than 3.0 g/L—qualifying it as Extra-Brut—with an alcohol content of 12.50% ABV.
Packaging and traceability: Available in standard bottles (750 ml) and magnums (1500 ml), each bottle features an NFC chip linked to the WID app, providing access to full details about the product range.
