Château Pape Clement 2002
Pessac-Léognan
93/100 Parker
Cellaring : 2005 - 2023
Tasted on April 29, 2005 by Parker: "An undeniable success as well as a candidate for the 2002 Graves, the 2002 Pape Clement exhibits a deep ruby/purple colour in addition to notes of smoke, hot bricks, scorched earth, red and black currants, and a bit of high-class cigar tobacco. It is full-bodied with a rich, textured mouthfeel, wonderful sweetness, ripe tannins and a long finish with notes of plums, licorice and subtle barrel. It should drink well for 15-18 years."
