Pessac-Léognan
This wine is sensational, a few years away from full maturity. A 50/50 blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine displays loads of barbecue, earth, and smoke aromas associated with blueberries, black raspberries, and black currants. The wine is large, has a savory, broad palate and a full-bodied mouthfeel, but possesses lively purity. The tannins are still present, but they are sweet and well-integrated. This wine should reach full maturity in a year or two and last at least 20 more years. (Until 2031)
