A wine that really impressed me and the best bottle I tasted during this tasting. The 2009 Châteauneuf du Pape Combe des Fous possesses exotic and intense aromas of pepper, kirsch liqueur, incense, white chocolate, and crushed flowers. Sexy, this extraordinary Chateauneuf possesses incredible concentration and crazy length at the finish line. Much more forward and open than the 2010, it should be drunk over the next 10-15 years. (Until 2029)
